This is a translation that has been recommended in the past as representing the Byzantine Greek New Testament, and it is called on the title page, “The Eastern / Greek Orthodox Bible New Testament,” but in many ways the EOB can be shown in many instances to quietly incorporate “Alexandrian” or “eclectic” readings, in much the same way that the New King James Version does.
This version has no Old Testament currently, but the reader is referenced to Hexaplar Septuagint, another page on the blog, for further study.
The changes in the EOB are, in no particular order:
Matthew 5:32 changed “fornication” to “sexual immorality”1“But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.” KJV

“to be sober-minded, chaste, to work in the home, [and to be] kind, in subjection to their own husbands, so that God’s word may not be disgraced.” EOB42βλασφημῆται is the literal word being used here, signifying blasphemy, railing against or speaking evil of, by which the ‘word of God’ is unjustly slighted. Less literal translations that take away the element of slander to the offense, lose the immediacy of the potential transgression to be avoided.

2. It is or has been used ludicrously for any one whose opinion is erroneus.”47So then a heretic is more than causing divisions, they are creating factions. One speaks the truth, and some separate from the body of the church (c.f. 1 John 2:19). One speaks the truth and those that are sensual separate themselves (c.f. Jude v. 19). Further, those that walk disorderly have no communion with Christ (c.f. 1 Timothy 6:3-5, 2 Cor. 6:13-18, 1 Cor. 5:9-13, 2 Thess. 3:6) and it is truly they that separate themselves, as the scripture says, from which are to be withdrawn. And again the Bible says, “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” 1 Tim. 6:3-5.
